Erfgoeddag - a day when heritage sites are open to the public and we were shown the sights by Willy who generously gave up his time to take us around the town. Here is Willy with Sarah at the Maadendale.

Sarah working on her performance piece in the cafeteria of the old Fire Station. We spent 3 days exploring Oudenaarde, meeting local people and joining in  their heritage day - we visited the tapestry centre, the beguinage, and  we tried the local beer and had our caricatures drawn !
